Counseling Interest Meeting
Join us for an informative Biblical Counseling Interest Meeting on September 20 (noon-1pm, lunch provided), where we’ll explain what biblical counseling is, why it matters, and how it serves as a vital ministry in our church. You’ll be equipped with a vision for how you can get involved and participate in the upcoming training program to care for others with the truth and hope of Scripture. All who are interested in this essential ministry are warmly invited—come and discover how God might use you to strengthen our church family. Please register online.
Father/Son Campout
Dads and their sons ages 4-12 are invited to join us for our annual Father/Son Campout on September 25-26. This overnight event, held on the church property, is packed with fun including a Friday night campfire with camp songs, games, crafts, creek stomping, and lots of good food. Dads, be sure to take advantage of this Crossway tradition to spend meaningful time with your sons and build them into the church family. Camp starts Friday at 6pm and ends Saturday at 2pm. Registration closes on September 13th.
Future Men
This class is for members of Crossway Church and their sons, ages 4-12. Fathers are expected to attend each meeting with their son(s). We require each father to have up-to-date clearances in order to attend. You can register for this event on Church Center.
Vital Life: Disability & Care
Through 4 sessions (Sept 29-Oct 20), this class will look at the nature of disability and how we can care for those affected by it in our church family. It will include scriptural teaching, personal stories, and showing practical ways we can serve and become involved. Register by September 20th.
Men’s Wing Night
Crossway men ages 12+ are invited to join us on Wednesday, September 30th from 6-8:30pm for wings & birch beer followed by a time of equipping through the preached Word. Cost is $22 per person through September 20 or $33 after that/at the door. Guests are welcome, so be sure to invite a family member, neighbor, co-worker, or friend. Registration is open online.
RunFAR
As part of our partnership with Covenant Mercies, we will have a sponsored team for their annual RunFAR fundraiser for orphan care in Sub-Saharan Africa. This October, you can run, walk, or bike, and log miles on their app. You can also support those who do. Greg Gehman will be overseeing the group this year. You can contact him for more information or to sign up.
Men’s Discipleship Course
The Men’s Discipleship Course is an opportunity for likeminded men to gather. This course will help you grow in your love for God, love for his Word, and in your faith to fill the roles that God has given you as a man. MDC meets twice a month on Saturday mornings (7:30-9:30am) from October 3 through May 1. All men, 18 and up, who are members of Crossway Church, are invited. Men’s Discipleship Course is a necessary part to effective service and ministry at Crossway. Registration is open now.
5th Quarter
Crossway Church is staffing 5th Quarter this Friday, October 11th. This outreach provides a safe place for Penn Manor students to interact after the home football game. A variety of serving times and needs are listed on the registration page.
Christian Worldview Workshop
How do you faithfully follow Christ in a culture that increasingly rejects a biblical and objective view of truth, identity, family, and human flourishing? You need more than good intentions. You need to know what you believe, why you believe it, and how to apply biblical truth to the questions shaping our culture. That’s why the Church Ambassador Network (CAN) and Family Research Council (FRC) invite you to a Christian Worldview Workshop designed to equip you to think biblically, communicate clearly, and live faithfully in today’s culture. This workshop will be hosted by Crossway and will take place on Thursday, October 29 from 8:30am-4pm. Registration is open now (use code Crossway10 for 25% off!).
If you would like to register for any of these events, you can go to the registration page on the website. If you would like to give to Crossway Church, you can go to the giving page.
