Crossway offers several opportunities for men to gather and grow in their faith and faithfulness to Christ in their God-given roles:
Men’s Discipleship Course
This course runs from October through May, each first and third Saturday morning (7:30-9:30AM). This course is offered to men, ages 18 and up who desire to gather with like-minded brothers to grow as disciples of Christ, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). During MDC, we spend time in Scripture, in fellowship & accountability, and in needful discussion of critical and biblical topics.
The wives of Men’s Discipleship Course are invited to participate in a companion course: “Women By Design”, led by Grace Privitera.
Leadership Training Course
Our Leadership Training Course is a by-invitation class that equips men who have completed our Men’s Discipleship Course to prepare them to take on further leadership roles in the church.
Prayer is a priority. For decades, the men of Crossway have gathered on Friday mornings in different groups to call on the Lord on behalf of the church.
Time: Every Friday morning, 5:30-6:30AM
Location: Crossway Church building, Millersville
Several times a year, we gather all the men of Crossway for a meal/dessert for the equipping and calling of one another to walk in a manner worthy of the gospel. Our annual Wing Nite (in early fall) and “Sundae Wednesday” (in spring) have become beloved events for Crossway men.
Building and Property Maintenance
The men of Crossway are often called upon to serve in maintaining our building and property (76 farm acres). We have a Farm Team, led by Tom Eckman, who leads the way in monthly service projects. We also offer an annual men’s workday and sausage sub lunch to encourage men to get involved and to serve.
In addition to our Farm Team, we have many other service teams, which specialize in many areas (audio, tech, video, etc) and the men of Crossway are encouraged to get plugged in to the team(s) that their gifts will be tapped and useful.
